はなんて言うでしょうか？
readは使うのか疑問に思っていましたら、
本を読むと同様でした。
I can read your mind/thoughts.
私は人の心を読めます。
観察していた場合には、
I can read your behavior.
I can read your body language.
将来を読めますは
I can read the future to tell your future(fortune).
トレンドに追いつけないと嘆くとき、
ポピュラーカルチャー（音楽や言葉の）はやりについていけないときには、
It's hard to keep up with the trends.
trendsを使います。
しばらく日本を離れていて、帰国したら、
その間に起きていた政治や国際問題などの
話題についていけないときには、
It's hard to keep up with the times.
timesを使います。
いつもおしゃれで、はやりの服装を着ている女性
これは次のようにいいます。
服装を主語にすると
Her fashion is always in style.
Her fashion is always in fashion.は使えません。
fashion が2回続くからです。
でも彼女を主語にして、
She is always in fashion.は使えます。
反対に彼の服は流行おくれは
His fashion is out of style.
He is out of fashion.
