遂に71歳のポールマッカートニー来日
本日は京セラドームで、ブロ友が現在進行形で演奏を聴いている様です。ええなぁ～！
僕はどちらかと言えばBEATLESよりライバルとしてよく引き合いに出されるROLLING STONESの方が好きですが、やはりポールマッカートニーと今は亡きジョンレノンはある意味天才で将来も伝説として語り継がれるでしょう。
彼はLed Zeppelinとも親交が深く、お互いの音楽性を尊敬してきた経緯もありBeatlesの中でのロックのセンスはポールが抜きに出ている様に思います。
僕自身はBeatlesのアルバムは所謂ベストアルバムの赤盤、青盤しか持っていませんが
Paul McCartney＆WingsのVenus ＆ Marsはカーステレオも時々聞きます。
特にオープニングのビーナス&マース～ロックショウへのメドレーはかっこいいですね。
ジミーペイジが使っている様なギター（のレスポール）がRock showのロックファンの憧れのギターとして歌詞の中にはっきりと出てくるのだが英語が不得意な日本人には当時余り知られていなかったのが悲しい。余計なお世話かも知れませんが、読者の皆さんの中で仮に外国語が苦手な人がいるなら仏独語とはいかなくとも、せめて英語位は分かる様になりまひょや。
何度も繰り返しますが、石川遼や安倍晋三氏の英語は幼稚園レベルで通用しません。
然し、写真にも映っている三年前に再々婚した三人目の嫁はん、ナンシー…若く見えるけど僕と同い年。
それにしても、71歳にして18歳も年下の美女を妻に出来る辺りは流石ですなぁ～。
