3Dスキャナ＆3Dプリンターをつかって、自分の顔の形のチョコレートをつくる！という女子限定のワークショップに参加してきたよー(・∀・)
18名の枠に対して200名の応募があったらしいよ、ラッキ～♪
きのうはその二日目のワークショップでした。
二日間のワークショップ内容は以下の通り。
※某知人のご要望に応えて英語解説いり。
Yesterday, I participated in a workshop for women to make chocolate in the shape of my face.
I am lucky one of the 18 participant chosen from 200 applicant!
This workshop is composed of two-day program.
Today is the 2nd day of the program, and the 1st day of program was held on last Saturday.
1st day program:
1) まずは３Dスキャナで全身をスキャン。日本で数台しかないレアなスキャナに入ったよ！
Scanning my body by 3D scanner, one of the only few 3D scanner in Japan!
4隅から不思議な光が照射されます
I was illuminated by mysterious light from the 4 corners.
まるでこのまま変身しちゃいそうな…
So fantastic that I looked like being about to transfrom…
わずか５秒間で全身スキャンが完了
It took only 5 seconds to scan myself.
2) スキャンデータをPCに取り込んで加工するの巻
Processing the 3D data, fixing the texture and filling the shape of my face on 3D modeling application.(*´Д｀)=з
私の全身データがPCに取り込まれます
My bodys' 3D data was transferred to a PC.
顔データだけを切り取り、鋳型にするための加工を施します
Processing the data of my face to form the molder.
3) いよいよ3Dプリンターで顔型のプロトタイプを作成！
Making an prototype of my face by 3D printer!
これがウン千万円するという3Dプリンター
This is a 3D printer that is expensive of ○○ million yen !
完成した自分型のプロトタイプ
The prototype of my face was completed.
4) 顔型からシリコン製の鋳型をつくります
Making an silicon molder from the prototype.
ピンクの液体がシリコーンです
Silicon is pink liquid.
これが完成したシリコーン製の鋳型
This is my molder made by silicone.
2nd day program:
5) 鋳型に湯せんしたチョコレートを流し込みます
Pouring melted chocolate into the molder and cool it.
6)チョコレートが固まったら、型から取り出します
Removing the chocolate out of the molder.

7)お好みで飾り付けして完成！
Decorating it.
実は先日クリス・アンダーセン「Makers」を読んで以来、3Dプリンターに魅せられ、いつか使ってみたいと願ってました。
そして想像してた通り、３Dプリンター体験は面白かった！
３Dスキャナはいろんな可能性を感じさせますね…近い将来に自分の全身スキャンデータを使って、採寸しなくてもオーダーメードの洋服がオンラインで注文できちゃったりするんだろうね。
3Dプリンターもスキャナもいろんな可能性がありそう！
Since I read "Makers" by Chris Andersen, I' ve been attracted by 3D printer and eager to see and use it.
As I had expected, the experience of 3D printer was very interesting and exciting.
You can achieve anything by 3D scanner, for example, I believe the time will come soon when you can get made-to-order clothes via internet with scan data in stead of measuring.
3D printer and 3D scanner have potencial , how do you want to use?
