3連休も中盤の日曜日、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
ここAustraliaのゴールドコーストは久しぶりの雨模様でしっとりした日曜日です☔
今日はいつもと違ったトピックで投稿させて頂きたいと思います。
先日、パートナーと一緒に🎤カラオケ🎤に行った時の出来事です😲
二人で一緒にカラオケに行くのは今回が初めてで、とても楽しみにしていました。
いつものルーティンから少し違った変化球の“遊び”は、お互いにとって必要ですよね🌃🌃
二人で一緒に何かEnglishの曲歌えないかというパートナーからの要望に、唯一、個人的に少し自信を持って歌える、アラジンの“A whole New World”ならと答えました。
二人で気持ちよく歌え終わると、彼女から笑いながら一言

えっ？！と最初は首をかしげましたが、実は同じような事をオージーの友達と数年前カラオケに行った時に言われた事を思い出したのです。
18歳(高校3年生)の時に単身オーストラリアに飛び出し早１８年、自分の人生ほぼ半分を既にオーストラリアで過ごし、英語を取り柄に仕事や私生活を満喫してきたMotokiに衝撃の事実。

現地のオージーには、オーストラリアで生まれたの？とか、日本人の外見でも全く日本語訛りがないといわれ続けたMotokiにはショックというより、最強のネタ😭😭😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂
＊そもそも、普通の会話で全く日本語訛りが無いのに、急に洋楽歌いだすと日本語訛りの英語になるってありえるの？ はい、ありえるんです。

Today, I went out to Karaoke with my partner for the 1st time.
I hardly ever to go to Karaoke🎤🎶 but sometime it is good to do something different for a change(‘ω’)ノ
There was a huge finding that I want to share with you today from my singing((((；ﾟДﾟ)))))))
I sang “A Whole New World” with my partner and she pointed out that I have Japanese accent when I sing an English song”
I remember one of my aussie friends told me the exactly same thing a few years ago when we went to Karaoke...
(* Yes, I forgot that the same incident happened previously )
Almost all the local people tell me that I have close to NO Japanese accent with my English when I speak but all in sudden,
my strong Japanese accent kicks in when I sing an English song.
Its quite embarrassing and I don’t know why that is happening lol.
My Partner told me “ I felt like going to karaoke with my Japanese friend who has never studied abroad.”!!
But I guess I can use the as a funny joke and tell people that I have strong Japanese accent ONLY when I sing an English song.
