A wrapped picture frame can hide the detail someone needs for hanging it. A front view identifies the artwork without showing the hardware.

Before wrapping the frame, photograph the entire reverse and a readable view of each mounting point. Give the reverse and detail views the same frame identifier. If there are two holes, include a view that shows their relationship rather than two close-ups with no orientation.

Record any measurements directly and state the units. A ruler photographed at an angle can be difficult to read, so do not treat a rough image estimate as a precise installation measurement. Keep the original capture beside a separate written measurement note.

Avoid covering the hardware with a label used only for the photograph. Put the identifier beside the frame, then check that a sharing crop still shows which edge is the top. Do not infer a safe load or suitable wall fixing from the photograph alone; those questions require information beyond the image.

I work on Morphio. For this handoff, I would deliver the front, reverse, and hardware details as a named set before the packaging makes another photograph inconvenient.
