～餅つき大会～です。
モンテッソーリ国際学園では、日本の文化の一つであるお餅つきを子ども達に体験してもらいます。
重たい杵を持ち上げて、ぺったんぺったんお餅をつきます。
Rice Cake Festival
At Montessori International Academy, we celebrated "Rice Cake Festival" with the children as part of our Japanese Culture.
The children lifted the heavy mallet and pounded the rice.
保護者様にもお餅つき大会にご参加していただいています。
The parents also got to join in on the fun.
初めてのお餅つきに緊張している子どももいましたよ。
Some children were a little tense with their first experience of rice pounding.
お父様と一緒に嬉しそうにお餅をついていますよ。
She is so happy to be making mochi with her father.
保護者様には、つきたてのお餅を丸めるお手伝いをして頂きます。
何百個ものお餅を丸めていただきありがとうございます。
The parents helped to roll the freshly pounded rice into small balls.
Thank you so very much, to the parents who rolled out hundreds of rice cakes.
つきたて、出来たてのお餅をお皿に取ったら。。。
We place the freshly pounded, freshly made rice cakes on our plates...
。。。餡子、きな粉、みたらし、大根おろしと、お餅を自分の好きな味付けにします。
... then we add our favorite toppings; red bean paste, powdered soybean, grated radish, or sweetened soy sauce.
つきたてのお餅はとても美味しかったですよ。おかわりをする子ども達もたくさんいましたね。
