Yesterday(Sep 17) I went to Asahikawa international center for taking part in the opening event "世界を知ろう展" as a volunteer.
昨日、旭川国際交流センターのオープニングイベント「世界を知ろう展」にボランティアとして参加しました。
International booths, which consisted of nearly dozen countries, were set up and not a few foreigners joined
the event.
10カ国以上の国際ブースが設けられ、外国人の方も結構参加していました。
So I was able to talk to people from a variety of countries such as Russia, America, Australia, Canada, Latvia and Mongolia.
ロシア、アメリカ、オーストラリア、カナダ、ラトビア、モンゴルなど様々な国の人達と話すことができました。(´∀｀)
Since I'm not used to speaking English, I was not able to speak fluently, however, that was a meaningful experience for me. :-)
あまり英語で話すことに慣れていないので、思うように流暢にはなせなかったけど、ぼくにとって意義のある経験となりました。
The event is supposed to be held until tomorrow(Sep 19). If you are in Asahikawa or you are planning to come here, you might want to stop by the event. I'm not sure if foreigners are at each booth tomorrow, though.
このイベントは明日9月19日まで開催予定なので、旭川の方や旭川に来る予定の方は一度立ち寄ってみてはいかがでしょうか？(各ブースに外国人の方が明日もいるかどうかはわかりませんが)

P.S gee, I completely forgot taking pictures. (^^;;
And I must confess I neglected my volunteer work; I spent almost all of the time on being at other county booths even though I was allocated to Austria booth. XDD Sorry~ :P
しまった、写真撮るの完全に忘れた。
懺悔しなきゃいけないかな？ボランティアとしての役目は果たしてなかったかも。オーストリアのブースに割り振られたにもかかわらず、他のブースに遊びに行ってばかりいました...ごめんなさい。(>_<) 来年もあったらちゃんと働きます、汗。
