今日はメルボルン出張！朝早く起きて、飛行機✈️
今回はちょっと遅れて１時間半弱かな。。。朝早すぎて爆睡。笑
ついて、さっそく、車借りて、新しいお客さんのお菓子会社へ！抹茶のチョコを作る段階で、抹茶の説明とテースティング、勉強会みたいな感じで日本抹茶のことを知ってもらえました。
次のお客さんはタイ人がやってる大人気メルボルンカフェhumble rays へランチ(^^)メルボルン新聞にtop 10 cafeにのったことがあるカフェは私達の抹茶とほうじ茶を使ってくれています。今日のランチはグリルサーモンとキノアサラダとタイミルクティー🥛🇹🇭美味しかった(^^)ごちそうさま〜
次は日本人が営業している抹茶カフェでも、抹茶、日本茶、ほうじ茶などの勉強会をさせていただきました。やっぱり色んな人と出会って、お茶の話して、お互いの感想などしての営業スタイルは楽しくて自分にあってる気がしました(^^)
今日もメルボルン出張はいろんな意味で会社に対して、自分に対してもプラスになり、満足した一日だった！また明日からも頑張れます！(^^)
Went for a quick business trip down to Melbourne today to both our existing and potential new clients . An early start this morning, I realy don’t do early mornings, passed out on the hour and half flight down from Sydney.
Rented a car and went to Hallam our east of Melbourne cbd to a confectionary factory aiming to use matcha for their new chocolates. Education is part of our company moto, educating all our clients and users about matcha, Japanese green tea and its uses. By educating, we are able to share our knowledge of all our teas and it also enhances our clients in knowing the differences in matcha, green teas by tastings and sampling. This allows our new clients to decide themselves which blend of matcha they’d like to use in their products or patisseries.
After our first meeting, we went to our existing client, the well known Melbourne cafe humble rays in Carlton where we treated ourselves to an amazing lunch 🍴 a must try in Melbourne, it’s made the top 10 cafes in Melbourne 2017.
Our third place we went is a Japanese matcha cafe where we were able to compare tastings, samples of both our teas, gelatos and icecreams. An educational session for both parts swapping ideas and potential use in various teas in future.
A very productive day over all, a good business day trip out of Sydney. This is what I love about it all, meeting new people, educating, swapping ideas and growing our company. I feel like I grow with the company too, by meeting people and learning all about the exciting business world.
Time to fly back to Sydney now, can’t wait to start my busy day again tomorrow.
