おはようございます。今日は旅の思い出話を少し。

Let me please tell you about memories of philippines’s trip!
私たちクルーは、ワールド・ビジョンがサポートしている
小学校を訪問しました。
彼らが使っている言葉は、タガログ語ではなく、
彼ら独自の言語“わらいわらい語”を話します。
私は、“わらい”の日本語の意味を教えましたら、
みんな、笑ってました！
笑うことは人を幸せにしますね！
Our crew visited an elementary school supported by World Vision.
Their language is not Tagalog. They have their own language called
“warai warai”. So, I taught them that "warai" means “laughing” in Japanese!
This made them laugh, ahahaha!
Laughing makes everyone happy!
学校の周りは緑がきれいな水田が広がっています。
私が帰るとき、生徒さんたちがみんな教室からでてきて、
手を振ってくれましたよ～！
There are very beautiful rice fields around the school. When I was leaving, many students came out of class to say and wave goodbye.
それから、私たちクルーは、日本のＯＤＡで作られた橋を渡りました。
この橋というのは、レイテ島とサマール島を結ぶ大きな橋です。
地元の人々が、この橋の話題になるといつも“ありがとう！”と言います。
といいますのも、あの大きな台風ハイアンでこの橋はまったくダメージがなかったようなのです。なので、この橋は、地元の人々の間ではとても有名な橋なのです。
ワールド・ビジョン・フィリピンの男性スタッフが、この橋をレイテ島からサマール島に渡るときに、サマール島の頭文字Ｓに見えるんだよ！そして、反対側のサマール島からレイテ島にくるとき、レイテ島の頭文字Ｌにみえるんだよ！と教えてくれました。
私は、“え～～信じられない！ うそでしょ！？”なんて言ってしまいました。
でも、これ本当だったんです！！！ 信じられない！！
もちろん！ 同じ橋なんですよ！
これ日本のＯＤＡがデザインしたんでしょうかね！？
わたしたちは、驚きと感動にあふれました！
Our crew also crossed a bridge which was made by Japanese ODA (Official Development Assistance). The bridge crosses between Samar island and Layte island. Many local people knew the bridge was made by Japanese because it wasn't damaged at all by Typhoon Haiyan. So, the bridge is famous around there!
When we talked about it with local people, they always said “Thank you”. A male staff member from Word Vision taught me that you can see letter "S" from Samar when you cross the bridge from Layte island to Samar island! And on the opposite side, from Samar island to Layte island, you can see the letter “L“ from Layte.
First, I said “I can’t believe it! It must be a lie!!“
But, it was totally true!!!! We were amazed!! Of course, it is the same bridge!
The bridge was really designed by ODA from Japan wasn't it!? I don’t know, but our crew was really surprised and moved by it!
