我が家のバスタブとシンク、決して掃除を怠けているわけでない。
通常、配管工事などをする場合、アパートの管理会社から通達がくるはずだけれど、
今日は何の予告もなく、バスルーム、キッチン、すべての水が、茶色くなった。
しばらく蛇口を開けたまま流し続けたけれど、いつまでも泥水が出てくる。
管理会社に連絡も取れず、このままどうやって生活しろというのだろうか。
アメリカ生活あるあるにしても、こういう事態は本当に心身が疲弊する。

I kept the faucets open, but the muddy water kept coming out.
How are we supposed to live like this without being able to contact the management company?
As is often the case when living in the U.S., this situation is mentally and physically exhausting.
