先日の記事が、久しぶりにアメトピに掲載されました。

「不適切にもほどがある」というドラマが大流行しているというけれど、
昭和の時代、職場でのハラスメントは日常茶飯事であったことは否めない。
前職場では「専門分野以外での会社知識を身につけてもらう」ことを目的として、
様々な部署への「地上研修」なるものが課されていた。
私は「機内サービス企画部」にある「ビデオ室」という部署に配置され、
当時の上司から、涙なしでは語れないような過酷な試練を与えられることになる。
親にも言われたことのないような暴言に、毎日泣き寝入りして耐え忍んでいたけれど、
もう限界となるたびに救ってくださったのが、同部署の前任者である夕城さんだった。
偶然の結果として、私たちは同じ時期に離職して、それぞれ海外に移り住むことになった。
それぞれの子どもたちの成長を見守り、異国に住む仲間として交流を深めてきた。
フランスとニューヨークで、その御縁がずっと続いてきたのは、
耐え難いあの時間を理解し共有しあえる仲であったことが、一つの理由であったかもしれない。
そう思うと、あの時間でさえも、愛おしい歴史であると感謝せざるを得ない。
夕城さんの御主人エリック・ムーケ氏（DEEP FOREST）の来日コンサートのタイミングで、夕城さんも５年ぶりに日本に帰国。
人気者の彼女の歓迎会が、いろんなところで開催された。
常に自己啓発の努力を惜しまず、トリュフ栽培家、ガラス作家、陶芸家として活躍の場を広げる夕城さんの愛と情熱。
コロナ禍、東京、フランス、ニューヨークの３地点ズームをやったりしたけれど、
やはりリアルで会えることが、こんなに嬉しいことを改めて想う。

One reason the relationship between France and New York has lasted so long may be that we were able to understand and share that unbearable time.
When I think about it, I cannot help but be thankful that even that time is a lovely history.
Yuki's husband, Eric Mouquet (DEEP FOREST), was coming to Japan for a concert, and Yuki returned to Japan for the first time in five years.
A welcome party for the famous lady was held in various places.
Always striving for self-improvement, Yuki's love and passion for her work as a truffle grower, glass artist, and ceramic artist are expanding her field of activities.
We have done during the COVID-19 pandemic, a three-point zoom of Tokyo, France, and New York,
I am reminded of how happy we are to be able to see them in real life.
