スポーツにあまり関心がなくても、ハーフタイムショーだけは見逃せない。
1993年にマイケルジャクソンが出演して以来、そこに登場することは、
スーパースターへの登竜門である。
今年は30年以上のキャリアを持つR&Bのレジェンド、アッシャーが出演。
地元アトランタでは有名なカルチャー、ローラースケートを履いて登場した。
そこにゲストのアリシア・キーズ、リル・ジョン、リュダクリスらが参加し、
バラードヒット曲を次々にお披露目するフルセットコンサートとなった。
昨年のリアーナのソロコンサートも超豪華で素晴らしかったけれど、
舞台設営・撤去の時間がかかり過ぎて、NFL側から不満の声が上がったという。
今年はそれを改善すべく、やや地味だけれど、十分に楽しめる演出だった。
毎年大きな話題を呼ぶスーパーボウル。
試合は最後に逆転劇があり、カンザスシティー・チーフスの勝利となった。

This year's concert was a little more subdued but still enjoyable.
