There is probably no one of the Japanese living in New York who does not know him.

Ryoichi Miura is the president and editor-in-chief of "Shukan New York Seikatsu" and an active reporter.

Whenever there is an incident, he goes straight to the scene carrying a camera and writes articles until midnight,

After editing, he even delivers newspapers to various parts of the city.

He is also semi-professional in his art activities, which is too much to be a hobby.

Between his day job, he finds time to paint oil paintings, which he exhibits yearly.

The ceremony began with a congratulatory address by Ambassador Mikio Mori, Consul General of Japan in New York,

It was a great success with many Japanese American artists and their supporters.

Mr. Miura will continue to work for the Japanese Americans in New York.

Here's to his strong press spirit behind his big smile.
