卒業式や送別会、誕生会などで、人と会合することの多かった2月と３月。
① インテリアデザイン大学時代の同級生宅にお呼ばれ。
かつては一緒に食事したり、別荘にお邪魔したりもしたけれど、
子供たちが大きくなってから、家族で会うのは本当に久しぶり。
山口名物の瓦そばを初体験、きっとお店で食べる以上の美味しさ。
いつも助けてもらってばかり、ごちそうさまでした。
② 人気シェフあべちゃんが、食事を作ってくださったレディースナイト。
ニューヨークで最高峰のコンドミニアム、幸枝さんのお宅がいつもの舞台。
ひでこさん、香織子さん、由美さんと、素敵なマダムが勢揃い。
全ての振る舞いが美しい皆さんのお喋りに、ただただ唸るだけの私。
③ 世界で活躍するオペラ歌手、田村麻子ちゃんの誕生会。
おもてなし上手のかおりさん、自身は週末のフェスを控えてダイエット中なのに、
こんなに素敵な料理の数々、バースデープレートの凝り方まで完璧。
ニューヨークにいる素敵な仲間たち、どうしてこんなに優しいんだろうと思う。
上を見ても下を見てもキリがないけれど、
支えてくれる皆さんに、しっかり恩送りを続けたいと心に誓う今日この頃。
February and March were months of meeting with people for graduation ceremonies, farewell parties, birthday parties, etc.
①We were invited to a classmate's home from my interior design college days.
We used to have dinner together and visit their villa,
It had been a long time since we had met as a family since our children had grown up.
We tried Yamaguchi's famous Kawara soba for the first time, and I'm sure it was even better than what we had at the restaurant.
Thank you for all the help you have always given me.
March was a month of many meetings with graduation ceremonies, farewell parties, birthday parties, and so on.
②The ladies' night was a great success, as famous chef Abe prepared the meal for us.
Yukie's house, the best condominium in New York, was the usual setting.
The lovely ladies were there, including Hideko, Kaoriko, and Yumi.
All of them were beautiful in every way, and I agreed as they chatted.
③ A birthday party for Asako Tamura, a world-renowned opera singer.
Kaori was an excellent host, even though she was on a diet in preparation for a weekend festival,
Such a fantastic array of food; even the elaborate birthday plate was perfect.
I thank my wonderful friends in New York who are so kind to me.
Though there is no end to what I can see above and below,
I vow to continue to give back to everyone who supports me.
