SNS普及のお陰で、旧友と繋がったり、新しい友人ができたり。
しかしリアルで会う機会がないと、友人としての距離はなかなか縮まらない。
今秋の舞台上演の際、たくさんの友人が観劇に来てくださった。
ブログ読者の方も、会いに来てくださった。
一目会うだけで、たくさんの記憶がリニューアルされる。
足を使って、その時間を捻出してくださるということが、どれほど重みのあることか。
コロナ対策で、ロビーホールでの会話は制限されてしまったけれど、
階下や会場の外で待っていてくださった方とは、少しずつキャッチアップできたかな。
写真は撮りきれていないけれど、お越しくださった方の名前はすべてリストアップして、
心のアルバムを、しっかり上書きすることができた。
会いたい人には会える時に会う。
あとどのくらい、リアルで会えるだろうか。

I will meet the people I want to meet when I can.
I wonder how much longer I can see them in real life.
