The Omicron strain is raging, and the number of positive cases in New York was over 74,000 yesterday.
The total number of infected people in the U.S. has exceeded 500,000 a day, nearly double the last winter.
It is truly a "never-ending battle."
Life is also a "never-ending battle" as well.
The year 2021, which I thought was stagnant, has passed.
The long COVID-19 pandemic has allowed me to see the actual figure of my surroundings.
My eldest daughter is now an adult in the U.S., and I have some idea of what I can do as a parent.
I have been struggling for a long time with a memory disorder that prevents me from remembering the past.
I wonder if it is because of menopause that I am no longer able to think.
The next thing I know, the day is over without me thinking about anything.
How will I live the rest of my life?
I am troubled.
I hope that the world will be filled with bright news in 2022.
