両眼性無眼球症（全盲）とたくさんの障害を持って生まれた娘を育てながら、日米の架け橋となるべく東奔西走しています。
暗闇の中を手探りで歩いてきた当時の経験から、周囲に「助けて」と言える社会づくりを目指した活動を行っています。
日々の暮らしを徒然と綴りながら、合間で娘のストーリー振り返り記事をアップしています。

ARTEXPOに参加する目的は、作品をお披露目するだけでない。
世界中から集まったアーティストのエネルギーを分けてもらうこと。
ギャラリストやコレクターとの繋がりができること。
そして、もっと広い世界に飛躍するきっかけができること。
エキスポ会期中での交流がきっかけで、レセプションにお声がけいただいた。
1983年にソーホーで開業、現在チェルシー地区にある「アゴラギャラリー」。
由緒ある歴史とその風格、品位は、その界隈でもひときわ目立つ存在。
「アゴラ」とは、ギリシャ語で「開かれた市場」の名の通り、
世界中から選りすぐられたアーティストたちの発表の場となっている。
昨夏、コロナ禍でのロックダウン後、いち早く再開を遂げたという人気ギャラリー。
スペーシャスな空間と、センスの良いキュレーションに、感銘を受けた。
アートを勉強していた学生時代、毎日のようにギャラリー巡りをしていた頃を思い出した。
高尚な学を得たいのではなく、ただ居場所を探していたあの頃。
今もまた、そんな気持ちで毎日を過ごしている。
The purpose of participating in ARTEXPO is not only to show off your work.
To be able to share the energy of artists from all over the world.
To be able to connect with gallerists and collectors.
And to have a chance to leap into the wider world.
We were invited to the reception because of our interaction during the expo.
Agora Gallery opened in 1983 in Soho and has now been located in Chelsea since 2002.
It has a long history and stands out in the neighborhood with its dignity and elegance.
"Agora" is the Greek word for "open marketplace."
It is a place where selected artists from around the world present their works.
This famous gallery was one of the first to reopen after the lockdown of the Corona disaster last summer.
I was impressed by the space and the tasteful curation.
It reminded me of when I was a student studying art, and I visited galleries every day.
Those days, I was not looking for some lofty learning but just looking for a place to belong.
Now, I spend my days with that same feeling.
