ドイツから、国際平和村代表のトーマス・ヤコブス氏御一行が到着した。
通訳、そして今回の企画側をずっと支えてくれた妙子さんが先導。
副代表の娘でもあるマレは、初来日でのミッションを抱えて神妙な面持ち。
皆で会うのは久しぶりなのに、再会の瞬間から和やかな雰囲気になれるのは、
台風の目とも言える今回の仕掛け人、敬子さんの巻き込み力と、
全てをおおらかに受け入れる代表トーマスのお人柄のおかげ。
振り返ると、チームの皆、水入らずでゆっくり食事できたのは、
後にも先にもこの夜だけだった。
まずはこの先の大きな企画の成功を祈願して、東京の夜に乾杯した。
