中学一年生の夏に、生まれて初めてスーツケースを買ってもらった。
祖母に連れて行ってもらったワイキキビーチの夕景は、
あまりにも美しくて衝撃的だった。
夏休みの宿題で版画にしたら、東京都で優秀賞をいただいた。
会社で支給されたのは、サムソナイトのスーツケースだった。
アンカレッジに緊急着陸したり、オーストラリアで紛失したり、
世界中をまわって、結局私のところに戻ってきた。
プライベートでは大人の世界に憧れて、
リモワのスーツケースを使っていた。
「世界一ハード」が売り文句のスーツケースなのに、
私のリモワは車輪がよく壊れた。
アメリカではトゥミが人気で、
いつしか我が家にはトゥミが増えていったけれど、
TASロックはよく税関で開けられる。
どのスーツケースも思い出と想い入れがいっぱいで、捨てられない。
旅のお供をしてもらうには頼りないほど不具合が多い子達は、
衣装ケース代わりに活躍してもらっている。
濃紺のリモワが新顔として仲間入りした。
小ぶりであまり容量がないのに、フォルムの美しさに惚れてしまった。
今はとんぼ返りの移動ばかりだから、これで十分なのかもしれない。
いい感じに年を重ねたら、ゆっくり旅がしたい。
深呼吸して、スーツケース皆んなにありがとうと言いたい。
My parents bought my first suitcase when I was in the middle school
at the 7th grade.
The evening of Waikiki beach, where my grandmother took us, was
shocking too beautifully.
Once I made the prints for the summer homework, I received the Excellence
Award in Tokyo.
The suitcase that I had been given by the company was a suitcase of Samsonite.
It had been taken emergency landing in Anchorage, and lost in Australia.
But it had eventually returned to me after it passed around the world.
In the private, I was using a suitcase of RIMOWA in longing to the adult world.
Even though the suitcase of RIMOWA had been sold as "the strongest
in the world",
My RIMOWA's wheel had broken many times.
TUMI is popular in the United States, and it increased unawares in my home.
But its TAS lock is broken well by Customs.
I cannot discard any suitcase since they are full with a lot of memories.
If the suitcase would not fit as the companion of travel, I use it as the costume case.
I got the dark blue of RIMOWA in my collection.
Though it do not have much capacity in small size, I fallen in love by the
beauty of the form.
Because I have only short trip recently, and this might be sufficient.
Once I got my good age, I want to travel laid back.
After the deep breath, I want to say thank to all suitcase.
