この街に来ると、地元に帰ってきたと実感する。
自転車通学していた高校時代、よく仲間と寄り道をした。
部活の合間を縫って、食べ放題のピザ屋に通い、
くだらないお喋りだけで、ずっと生きていけそうな気がしていた。
学生時代、行列のできる和菓子店の羊羹を買うために、
お年寄りに混ざって、早朝４時前から並ぶバイトもした。
あの頃に着ていた洋服は、ほぼこの街で調達していた。
街は、長い年月をかけて少しずつ変わっていくけれど、
ここで育ててもらったスピリットは、きっとずっと変わらない。
この夏またこの街で、いくつかの思い出ができそうだ。
When I came to this town, I realized that I came home locally.
In high school days, I often came here with my colleagues by bicycle.
We stopped by between club activities and went to the all-you-can-eat pizza restaurant,
I just felt like I could live forever just with our casual talking.
In the age of college students, in order to buy very popular Japanese sweets,
I lined up with the elderly from 4 o'clock early in the morning as my part-time job.
The clothes I was wearing at that time were almost procured in this town.
The city changes little by little over the years,
The spirit raised here will surely remain the same.
I will have some memories in this town again this summer.
