友人からのお誘いで、週末のチャイナタウンに出かけた。
薄曇りでやや肌寒い日だったけれど、街の活気はとどまることがない。
日本人が異国に住むと、なるべくその国のカルチャーに溶け込もうとする。
群れをなすことよりも、アメリカナイズされていることがサクセスとされる所以。
一方で、世界中の至る都市で、自分たちだけの街「チャイナタウン」を創造する
彼らの生命力は素晴らしい。
集まった名目は、美味しい小籠包を食する会。
トリュフ入りの小籠包も、プリッとしたエビ入りのハーカオも、
ちょっと甘みの強い担々麺も、どれもこれも美味しかった。
私は小龍包よりも、彼女らに会いたくて、そこに行った。
他愛ない会話が何よりのご馳走で、週末の午餐はあっという間。
夕暮れ前に、チャイナタウンを歩く。
街はまた一層、活気づいていた。
I went to Chinatown with my friends on the weekend.
It was cloudy and a rather chilly day, but the vibrancy of the city was there powerfully.
When Japanese live in a foreign country, we try to blend into the culture of that country
as much as possible.
Because Japanese are regarded as succeeding that being Americanized is more than
to form Japanese flock.
Meanwhile, in the cities around the world, Chinese people create their own city "Chinatown".
Their life force is wonderful.
The gathered nominal is a party to eat delicious dumpling.
All dim sum, such like Soup dumpling with truffle, Boiled dumpling with shrimp,
and Dandan noodle Szechuan style, were also delicious.
Because I wanted to see my friends, I joined there.
An elaborate conversation was perfect dishes, and the luncheon over the weekend
was over so quick.
I walked in Chinatown before the dusk.
The town looked even more flourishing.
