ニューヨーク近郊から直送される食品や植物の直売が中心で、
仕入れに来るレストランのシェフや隣人、観光客、多くの人達で賑わっている。
４月に入ってようやく気温も(摂氏)二桁台に上がるようになり、
マーケットにも一気に春がやってきた。
見渡す限りの花、花、花。
可憐に生きる花たちの姿は、なぜこんなにも美しいのだろう。
日常的に花を買っていく男性の姿も、また美しい。
イースター休暇は、バカンスに旅立つのが当たり前のマンハッタン。
少しだけ人の少ないニューヨークを、ゆるりと歩いてみよう。
