ソムリエ資格試験のためにワインを勉強していた頃、
和食とワインを合わせたお店といえば、
六本木の「小田島」と「菱沼」だった。
「小田島」の若旦那とは、ソムリエ同期だったこともあって、
よくお店にもお邪魔していたけれど、
「菱沼」にお伺いしたのは、いつ以来だったろうか。
以前の白いマンションではなくて、商業ビルの地階。
上品にしつらえられたお料理に舌鼓を打ちつつ、
時代の移り変わりを心底感じた。
街は変わっていっても、変わらないものがある。
和食にかける想いと、御主人の笑顔が健在なことが、
何より嬉しかった。

I often went to eat and drink there.
I visited "Hishinuma" first time in the last 15 years.
It was located not the former white apartment, but the basement floor of a commercial building.
While enjoying dishes tastefully prepared,
I felt my mind feeling the change of the times.
Even if the city changes, there is something unchanged.
I was very happy that I found the passion to Japanese food and the smile of the master.
