いわゆる芸能人に知り合いがいないわけではないけれど、
日常的にTVを観る習慣がない私は、芸能界のことに本当に疎い。
「E-girls」という存在も、紅白歌合戦の動画を観て、初めて知った。
元「E-girls」リーダー高本彩さんが、ニューヨークで写真展を開催。
アパレルブランド「KOBINAI」吉橋舞さんとのコラボ企画。
それをサポートして欲しいという依頼を受けたのは、
会期のわずか半月前だった。
慌てて地元メディアに告知依頼をして、当日レセプションに駆け付ける。
前日到着したばかりの彼女達が、明け方までかかって設営した会場は、
若さと手作り感がみなぎる、エネルギッシュな空間だった。
忙しいスケジュールの合間に、アートエキスポにも足を運んでくれたり、
タクシーに置き忘れたカメラの捜索に走り回ったり。
何につけても若葉マークの彼女達が初々しい。
アイドルという立ち位置から離れ、次のステージを模索している勇姿。
若きヤマトナデシコの挑戦を、母親の気持ちで見守っている。

During the busy schedule, they visited us at Art Expo,
they run around searching for a camera that they left behind in a taxi.
For all, situation, their activities looked very fresh to my eyes.
