木梨憲武氏、初のニューヨーク個展を開催。
オープニングレセプション前夜、突然の依頼で、
我が家で子供達のワークショップを開催することになった。
ダンボール紙を自由に切り貼りして制作する「ダンボールフェアリー」。
ニューヨークの子供達がどんな発想で、どんな作品を作るのか。
３台のカメラがまわるなか、収録は無事終了。
翌日のレセプションは大盛況。
ユニークな作品の数々は、ピュアな童心を思い起こさせる。
彼のマルチな才能に、ニューヨーカーも魅了されていくことだろう。
子供達の作品がどのように紹介されるのか、番組のオンエアも待ち遠しい。
Noritake Kinashi now holds his first solo exhibition in New York.
I've got sudden request on the night before the Opening reception.
We held a kids' workshop in my home.
It was for the part of TV show and the art work that Kinashi produces,
called "Cardboard Fairy."
We enjoyed watching the idea and work of New York kids.
Among the three cameras were around, TV shooting was successfully
completed.
After that day, the opening reception was a great success.
A number of unique pieces remind the pure kids heart.
New Yorkers will also be fascinated with his multi-talented.
We look forward to watch how they introduce the kids’ works on TV show.
