アートは「出会い」だと思う。
それはきっと、人との出会いとも同じように、
それまでの時間とか経歴とか、そういうすべてを超越して、
「好き」になってしまう瞬間があるのだと思う。
私がアートをそばに置くのは、その作品が好きという理由だけでなく、
それを手にした時の感情や状況、すべてを思い出すツールになるから。
新しいことを始めた時、引越しを決めた時、そして別れの時。
その絵を前に、いろんな感情を、引き出しからそっと思い出す。
西村麻里さんのアートからは、エネルギーが溢れ出ている。
エキスポ会場の中でも、異彩を放つブースとして注目された。
時として、いろんなエネルギーがぶつかり合うとしても、
すべてプラスに向けていくことだけが、成功の秘訣だと学ばされる。
４日間のエキスポは、大盛況だった。
わざわざ有料チケットを購入して、陣中見舞いに来てくださった友人。
少しでも力になるようにと、差し入れを届けてくださった友人。
懇切丁寧に、設営やセールスのアドバイスをしてくださった友人。
壁によじ登って、夜遅くまで撤収を手伝ってくださった友人。
麻理さんと過ごした時間は宝物。
そして、本当の人の優しさについて、つくづく考えた４日間。
会場にお越しくださった全ての皆様に、心からのありがとう。
I think art is an encounter.
Surely, as same as an encounter with people,
Transcending the time, career, and so on,
I think there is a moment when you become "fall in love".
I put art by my side not only because I like the work,
It will be a tool to remember all the emotions and circumstances of when I got it.
When I started something new, when I decided to move, and when I said goodbye.
When I stand in front of the art work, it reminds me various emotions from the drawer of my heart.
The art works of Mari Nishimura are always overflowed with energy.
Among the ARTEXPO venues, it was noted as a booth that emits a unique energy.
Sometimes, even if different energies of artists collide,
we were learned that just going for all positives was the key to success.
The four-day ARTEXPO got a great success.
Friends who bought a paid ticket and came to visit during the period.
Friends who gave us food and beverage to help us.
Friends who gave us advice on setup and sales carefully.
A friend who climbed up the wall and helped withdraw until late at night.
The time I spent with Mari was a treasure.
And four days I thought about the real kindness of friends.
