こころMojiアーティストの浦上秀樹氏。
21歳の時に筋肉が徐々に減少していく進行性の病気、遠位型ミオパチーを発症。
口に筆をくわえて文字を綴る「こころMoji」制作を始めて10年が経った現在も、
積極的にアーティスト活動を続けている。
いつかニューヨークで彼のパフォーマンス企画をしてみたい。
そんな思いを持ち続けて、もう５年以上が経過してしまった。
コロナ禍で不便を強いられることが多いけれど、オンライン配信であれば
彼のパフォーマンスを世界中の人に届けられる。

普通のことが当たり前のようにできることが、何よりも幸福であること。
彼のメッセージはいつも、心にぐっと沁み入る。
当たり前のことに感謝する気持ち、今日もわが身をふり返る。
Hideki Urakami is a Kokoro Moji artist.
At the age of 21, he developed distal myopathy, a progressive disease that causes gradual muscle loss.
It has been 10 years since he started creating "Kokoro Moji," which he uses to spell words using a brush with his mouth.
He continues to be active as an artist.
I would like to plan his performance in New York someday.
It has been more than five years since I had such a desire.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic often inconveniences us,
with online streaming, we can deliver his performance to people all over the world.

Being able to do normal things as a matter, of course, is the happiest thing of all.
His message always touches my heart deeply.
I am grateful for the things I take for granted, and today I am reflecting on myself.
