５月28日、メモリアルデー。
南北戦争以降、兵役中に亡くなった米国の兵士、戦没将兵を追悼するために制定され、米国では夜明けから正午まで星条旗の半旗を掲げて哀悼の意を表す。
政府の政策で国民の３連休を増やすために現在「５月の最終月曜日」に定められたメモリアルデーは、「夏の始まり」を告げる日でもあり、人々は墓参りやスポーツイベント、ピクニックなどの家族行事などに出かける。
我が家もこの日は友人宅のバーベキューに招かれて出陣。
肉、肉、魚、肉、肉、魚。
最後の締めは薬味沢山の御素麺。
気温31度、一気に夏の気分が盛り上がっていく。
９月のレイバーデーが「夏の終わり」を告げると、子供達の新学期が始まり、あとはハロウィン、サンクスギビング、クリスマス。

People attend to the family events, such as sporting, to go grave and picnic.
This day, we were invited to my friend's house for BBQ.

garnish.
The temperature reached 31degrees Celsius, and the lively mood of the

The Labor Day in September will announce the "end of summer", children will begin the new semester.
