私は三人姉弟の真ん中だから、次男の気持ちはよく分かる。
上の子が作ってくれたレールに乗っているのは楽だけれど、
本当はもっと主張があることも知っている。
両親や友人のバランスを見ながら、自分の居場所を見つける。
誰かの肩を持つこともせずに、飄々と生きる。
兄貴が行っているから当然のように、日本語補習校に通った。
週末のテコンドーの試合にも出れず、友達と遊ぶ約束もできない。
でも、家族がみんな日本語で会話できることに感謝しよう。
弁当を作ることぐらいしかできない母だけれど、応援している。
卒業おめでとう。
そして、中学部も頑張ろう。
