仕事上、若いスタッフと接することは少なくない。
子供達のテューターをお願いしている学生、
卒業してそのまま採用された新入社員。
親子ほど年の違いのある友達とも、仲良くさせてもらっている。
それなのに、この仕事を引き受けた当初、私はかなり戸惑った。
日本の現実は、もっともっと突き抜けた場所にあるのだと学んだ。
SNSをフル活用して、バーチャルだけでも、ネットワークを作り上げる。
わずか１、２年で、劇的に生活環境を変えていく日本の若者たち。
私が17年かけて築いてきたものは、一体何だったのだろうと回顧する。
しかし長い時間一緒にいるうちに、先頭を走り続けている彼らこそが、
実は危機感を抱いていることを知って、少し安心した。
面と向かっての発言は少なくとも、内に秘めたパワーは凄い。
実体のない、デジタルで作られた関係の儚さに気づいた者が変わり始めている。
彼らがきっと、日本の未来を変えていくのだと思う。
頼もしい彼らに、ここからのエールを送り続けよう。
In terms of work, I often come in contact with young staff.
There are students who are working as for children's tutors,
and new employee who graduated college and adopted as freshman.
I have friends who are very different age of mine.
However, in the beginning I underwent this job, I was quite confused.
I learned that the reality was in a place that had penetrated even more.
Japanese young people make up a network by making full use of SNS,
even though it was virtual.
They have changed the living environment dramatically in just one or
two years.
I had to look back at what I had built over 17 years.
But, during their stay in New York, I was a little relieved when I knew that
they had a feeling of crisis.
Though they are the ones who keep the status as the top.
Though their remarks towards in direct are very rare, the power hidden
inside is amazing.
Those who have noticed the fragile, digitally made relationships, are beginning
to change.
I think they will surely change the future of Japan.
