１月のブリザードは、たった１日で観測至上２番目の積雪をもたらした。
一時は電車もバスも一般車両も全てストップして、厳戒態勢が引かれた後、
マンハッタンでは、夜通し除雪作業が続けられた。
一夜明けた日曜日の朝。
雪かき作業の横で、犬と散歩する若者。
いつもと変わらず、マンハッタンを暴走するタクシー。
週末出勤のスーツ姿で、道を急ぐビジネスマン。
あっという間に日常を取り戻していく回復力こそが、
ニューヨークの街の強さなのだろう。
私も家事を終えたら、ヨガクラスに出かけよう。
突き抜けるような青空が、目に眩しい。

That was the strength of the city of New York.
After I have finished housework, I will go out to yoga class.
Blue sky like penetrate is dazzling to the eye.
