コットンで出来た人形に、それぞれが顔や洋服を描き込んでいく。
完成した手作り人形で、世界の子どもたちを繋ぐ。
そんな素敵な活動をしている「ミステリオ」が主催。
フリーマーケットやガレージセールとは全く趣旨が違い、
自宅で眠っている洋服や雑貨を持ち寄って、
いわゆる「物々交換」を行なうというのが第一義の目的。
参加者は任意の寄付金を支払って、あとは自由に会場内を回る。
なかにはタグが付いたままの新品や、贈答品セットもあるけれど、
「我が家では不要な物も、他の誰かの役に立つかもしれない」
参加者全員が、そんな気持ちで集まっているところが素晴らしい。
そこに利益を求めていないからこそ、多くの人が賛同する。
かつて駐在者のムービングセールに連れて行かれた時、
「こんな物まで売ろうとしているのか？」と驚いたことがあった。
引っ越し代まで会社に出してもらえる駐在者が
利益に執着している姿に、心が苦しくなった。
新品、新古品に関わらず、
処分するくらいなら、無償で誰かの役に立って欲しい。
そんな想いを共にする仲間が自然と集う機会。
エコロジー本来の意味を改めて考える、非常に意義深いイベントだった。
会場に残った品々は、そのまま世界の子供団体に寄付されます。

"Msterio" that is doing such a wonderful activity organized this event.
The purpose was completely different from flea market or garage sale,
Bring clothes sleeping at home and miscellaneous goods,
the primary purpose was doing so-called "barter trade".
Participants paid an arbitrary donation, and then freely went round the venue.
Inside there were new goods with tags attached and gifts sets,
"In unnecessary things at home, it may be useful for someone else."
It was wonderful that all the participants gathered in such feelings.
Many people agreed because it was not seeking profits there.
When I was taken to a "moving sale" of a Japanese expat family,
I was surprised that they sold everything by taking money.
Though they can get the "moving expense" from the company,
I was shocked that they stuck the egoistic benefit at all.
Regardless of new and old-stocked items,
We would like someone to use it for free without disposing it.
An opportunities for fellows who shared such feelings to gather with nature.
It was a very meaningful event to think again about the original meaning of ecology.
The items left in the venue will be donated to the world's children's organization as it is.
