先週は半袖でも大丈夫な日があったと思ったら、週末には一気に最低気温が(摂氏)一桁になった。
この急激な気温の落ち込みが、紅葉の色をより濃く鮮やかにする。
マンハッタンから片道約２時間。
ニューヨーク郊外、アップステートの秋も一気に深まっていた。
国道沿いに並ぶ野菜の直売店、地元やマンハッタンで有名なベーカリーの本店。
秋の彩り、秋の味覚は、心も身体も豊かにしてくれる。
寒い冬を越せるように、少しぐらい肥えてもいいかなと自分を甘やかしてしまう今日この頃。
Autumn in New York is the most beautiful season in a year.
