授賞式から一夜明けての、メディア取材。
インタビューに答える篠原健太氏の表情に、少し安堵の色が見てとれる。
前日は時差疲れもあったのか、緊張で顔色が悪かったけれど、
この日は生き生きと対応して、タイムズスクウェアでの撮影も難なく終了。
ニューヨーク、まだまだ見どころはたくさんあるけれど、
とりあえずミッドタウンを制覇しようと、グランドセントラル駅からの、
エンパイアーステートビルディングのてっぺんまで。
ドリカムがテーマソングを歌った映画「Sleep in Seattle」を熱弁する私に、
若きクリエイターは、キョトンとして反応がない。
「キングコング」の話題で、なんとか空気を取り戻し、呼吸が復活。
「シュガーフィナ」でお土産を大人買いして、おにぎりカフェで夕飯を取り、
「Sleep No More」のショーに送り出して、私のミッションは終了。
駆け足で回ったニューヨーク。
日常的な観光ツアーのアテンドは受託していないけれど、
テーマをフォーカスしたツアーを構成するのは面白い。
これから羽ばたいていく若者たちへのタスキ繋ぎ。
こんなところから、世界は繋がっていく。

They bought many souvenirs at "Sugarfina", had dinner at a rice ball cafe.
Then I sent them off to the “Sleep No More” show, and my mission was over.
We walked around in New York in rush.
We, our company, do not accept the attendance of daily sightseeing tours,
but it was interesting to organize a tour that focuses on the theme.
I pass the baton to young people who are walking here.
