築地市場に行った時に、久しぶりにマイ包丁を購入した。
数年前に他界した祖母が、刃物だけは良いものを使うようにと、いつも説いていた。
爽快な切れ味の包丁を手にすると、かつて思い描いていた夢を思い出す。
今でこそゆっくりキッチンに立つ時間は限られているけれど、祖母や母の影響もあって、幼い頃から料理が好きだった。
老若男女、胃袋が満たされていればまず幸せな気持ちになれるのは世界共通。
毎日気軽に立ち寄れて、笑顔になって帰れる場所。
そこに行けばいつも仲間に会える、BGMのいらない大人の空間。
そんな場所を提供する役割を担いたいと思っていた。
包丁一本が夢の懸け橋になることだってある。
そんなことを考えながら、日々大事に使い、研いてあげよう。
When I went to the Tsukiji Fish Market, I bought my knife for the first time
in a long time.
I was always taught by Grandmother, who passed away a few years ago,
to use only good things cutlery.
When I got the kitchen knife sharpness exhilarating, I remember my dream
that was once envisioned.
I have limited time only standing in the kitchen slowly now, but I love
cooking from an early age because of the influence of the mother and
grandmother.
It is universal if the stomach is filled with, people feel happy.
It might be a place that makes you feel free daily, and you go home with
happy smile.
It might be an adult place that you go to meet a friend always there,
without BGM.
I had wanted to play a role in providing such a place.
There is a chance that even a knife would be a bridge to a dream.
Thinking of that time, I'll use this knife with care daily and grind it.
