ジャパンソサエティで開催された「殺陣波濤流NY道場」演武会の備忘録。
友人の香純恭（かすみ・きょう）さん率いる殺陣道場の５周年祝い。
約30名の生徒さんと恭さんが、舞台狭しと刀を振って動きまわる。
殺陣はパフォーミングアーツ、いわゆる演舞芸術のカテゴリーだから、
心を落ち着けて、その舞台を楽しみことができる。
我が子たちが道場に通うテコンドーは、マーシャルアーツ、格闘技。
いつどこかで怪我をしないか、手に汗握りながらの観戦と違って、
細かい演出にの１つ１つに感動しながら、凛々しい恭さんにうっとりした。
ハイライトは、オペラ歌手・田村麻子さんとの即興共演。
オペラと殺陣という前代未聞の演出に、観客一同大いに魅了された。
舞台の後は、レセプション会場に移動してのカクテルパーティー。
肌寒い日曜日の午後、たくさんの友人に会えたことも、NY社会の狭さゆえ。
世界の最先端にいる日本人女性の活躍ぶりに、心から祝福を。
A memorandum of "TATE Hatoryu NY 5th Anniversary Showcase" demonstration held at the Japan Society.
It was a celebrating 5th anniversary of the TATE camp led by a friend, Kyo Kasumi.
About 30 students and Kyo moved around, waving their swords.
TATE is a category of performing arts, so-called dance arts, we can calm down and enjoy the stage.
Taekwondo, where our kids attend the dojo, is martial arts.
Unlike when watching with worrying about injured,
I was fascinated by Kyo while being impressed by each one of the details.
The highlight was an improvised co-star with the opera singer Asako Tamura.
The audience was all fascinated by the unprecedented collaboration of opera and TATE.
After the stage, we went to the reception hall for a cocktail party.
We met many friends on a chilly Sunday afternoon, and felt NY society looked as very small world.
Blessing from the heart for the Japanese women at the cutting edge of the world.
