「母の日」、もちろん母に感謝を伝えたいけれど、
祖国で入院中の母に、それを伝えるすべがない。
５月に雪が降った土曜日。
少し気温の上がった日曜日。
マンハッタンの週末は、恐ろしいほど静かに過ぎていく。
人通りのない街、マスク姿ですれ違う人と、目で会話をする。
お互い頑張って、生き抜いていこうよね、と。
今は無性に、母にありがとうを伝えたい。
