美しいもの、綺麗なものを、共有できないもどかしさでいっぱいだった。

きちんと伝えられるようになるよ」
師匠の言葉をゆっくり反芻する。
世界最高峰の高級デパート、５番街の「バーグドルフグッドマン」。
「リーマンショックの不景気のなか、
あえて富裕層に高価な商品を提供し続けたことで、
いったん離れていった消費者までも、
高価な商品に引き戻すことに成功した」
映画「ニューヨーク・バーグドルフ魔法のデパート」で、
驚愕の舞台裏が公開されてからも、最高級という不動の地位を保ち続けている。
今年のホリデーウィンドウは、120周年を迎えたスワロフスキー社とのコラボ。
700万個のクリスタルが放つ、煌びやかな世界観に圧倒される。
美術館さながらのショーウィンドウは、
世界中のデザイナーの憧れ、アメリカンドリームの象徴とも言われる。
神々しいほどのウィンドウを眺めながら、
師匠のメッセージをひとつずつ受け取る。
「Brilliant Holiday」ウィンドウのテーマが語りかける。
本当に美しいものに、言葉はいらない。
でも、言葉で伝えないといけない。
ほしいのは、それを伝える勇気と覚悟。

Longing of designers around the world, it is also referred to as a symbol of
the American Dream.
While watching the awe-inspiring window,
I receive the master's message one by one.
The theme of the window "Brilliant Holiday" speaks directly to the heart.
No words are necessary to something really beautiful.
But I have to convey in words.
I want determination and courage that I tell it.
