かつて実家で飼っていた犬は、シェパードと柴犬の雑種。
賢くて気が強いから、誤って綱を放すと、すぐに遠くに逃げて行った。
車に轢かれていないか、野犬狩りに捕まっていないか、
一日中心配で、探し回った。
お腹を空かせて日が暮れた頃に、ようやく戻って来る。
それが、いつものパターンだった。
セントラルパークは、午前９時までと午後９時以降、
飼い犬のオフリーシュ散歩が認められている。
飼い主はルールを守り、糞の始末も絶対責任。
犬たちも行儀良く、飼い主について歩くのが本当に不思議。
我が家の飼い犬は、番犬として繋いで飼っていたから、
いつも自由に餓えていたのだろうなと回顧する。
ここにいる犬たちは、いつも自由に歩いているから、
飼い主に忠実についていた方が楽なのだろう。
人間も仕事も同じかもしれない。
自己責任で何でも自由にさせてもらう状況にあると、
ある程度の規律の中で守られていることが羨ましく思える。

It is truly wonderful that dogs behave well and walk about their owners.
Because our dogs kept connecting the leash as a watchdog,
I look back on that she always wanted to be free.
The dogs here are always walking freely,
It would be happier that they are faithful to their owner.
Humans and work may be the same.
If we are in a situation where we are free to do anything at our own risk,
It seems enviable that it is protected within a certain discipline.
