1977年にカナダに移住して開いたワイナリー。
建物の前にあるセンソリーガーデンでは、
ワインの香りを例える時に使われる植物を、実際に手に取ってみる。
草木の香りから、ワインのセパージュを想像する学習体験。
カナダでの歴史は決して古くないけれど、
ヨーロッパの王道で培った技術と、近代化されたファクトリーの融合。
リースリングとアイスワインは絶品で、
レイトハーベストというセカンドラインでも十分に楽しめる。
かつて新世界と分類されたワインの分野が、
今はこんなに世界を魅了している。
A 300-year-old winery owner in Germany,
moved in Canada in 1977, and opened the new winery.
In the sensory garden in front of the building,
we actually took the plants to be used when comparing the smell of wine.
It was the learning experience to imagine a cepage of wine from the aroma of vegetation.
Though their history in Canada is never outdated,
it has the fusion of technology cultivated in the royal road of Europe and modernized factory.
Riesling and ice wine are exquisite.
Also, we can enjoy it even with the second line called Late Harvest.
Canadian wine is the field of wine classified as a new world wine.
Now we are attracted to this new world.
