広島サミットは、当初集客にとても苦労した。
会場の入館料がハードルとなって、一般参加者が敬遠していた。
広島県外の人間が、広島で平和を唱えることが疑問だとまで言われた。
苦しむ私たちを見兼ねた某企業様が、入館料を負担してくださるという
信じられないようなお申し出をしてくださった。
無料開催を告知してようやく、広島会場の申し込みが増えていった。

4月19日、午前10時30分。
広島サミットをお手伝いしてくださるスタッフの皆さんと、
広島平和記念公園で待ち合わせた。
「初めまして」の方ばかりなのに、皆がとても優しく迎え入れてくれる。
その光景が嬉しくて、すでに胸が一杯だった。
自ら被爆３世と名乗る方々が、かつての敵対国アメリカを悪く言うこともなく、
「未来のいのち」を一緒に考える取り組みに賛同してくださっている。
私たちは絶対に、この小さな声を消してはいけない。
伝えないといけない。
トーマスが献花を捧げ、皆で世界平和を祈る。
平和の象徴・鳩たちが、私たちを見守ってくれていた。
"International Future Life Summit 2019 in Hiroshima" initially struggled to collect guests.
The entrance fee to the venue "Orizuru Tower" was little expensive, and general participants were reluctant.
Also, we were said that it was doubtful that people outside Hiroshima Prefecture would advocate peace in Hiroshima.
After we had hard time for a while,
One day, a president of a certain company offered us to pay admission fee as a sponsor.
After announcing the free event, finally, the number of applications for the Hiroshima venue increased.

April 19th, 10:30 am.
With all the staff who helped Hiroshima Summit,
we met at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
Everyone very kindly welcomed us, even though we met the first time.
I was very happy with that scene.
The third generation people of the exposure of radiation did not complain to the former hostile America,
We agree with our efforts to think together about "future life".
We must not ignore this small voice out.
We must convey.
Thomas donated flower, and everyone prayed for world peace together.
A pigeons, symbol of peace, were watching over us.
