アートアクアリウムの総合プロデューサー・木村英智氏が
日本の古典芸能の新しい楽しみ方を提案している。
日本橋・福徳の森は、かつて福徳神社があった場所。
そこの地下に、本格的な能舞台を建立して、
１年365日、本家本元本流の古典芸能の舞台が繰り広げられる。
一般的に敷居が高いとされている伝統芸能に解説を加えながら、
時にはフォトセッションも交えて、お披露目。
客席に座り、能や狂言、日本舞踊をはじめとする伝統芸能、
鼓や笛といった和楽器の音色までを楽しみながら、食事をする。
江戸で最も古い「すし栄」の御膳、香老舗「松栄堂」のお香、
「福寿園」のお茶、「老松」の京菓子、「亀末廣」の干菓子まで、
徹底的に「古き良きもの」にこだわり、漆器や膳もビンテージもの。
高校の文化祭で歌舞伎「勧進帳」の舞台に関わって以来、
古典芸能は私の中で、特別な存在。
これまで外国人客を御案内する時にたくさん苦労したけれど、
これからはきっと、日本橋ですべて解決できる。
東京オリンピックに向けて、東京の楽しみ方がまた広がった。
