学生時代に葛飾区で熱帯魚屋の雇われ店長だったことが始まり。
熱帯魚を通して世界に繋がりたいという夢がビジネスになり、
そこにクリエイティブなエッセンスを足したら、
アートアクアリウムが完成した。
人生の岐路に立つと、常に「心の声に耳を傾ける」という木村英智氏。
今年で開催11年目を迎えた「アートアクアリウム」は、
アート、デザイン、エンターテインメントとアクアリウムの融合型展覧会。
金魚を中心とした観賞魚たちが、光と音と映像を駆使した神秘的な空間で、
自由自在に泳ぎ、アートのように演出されている、まさに「芸術水族館」。
見上げた天井にいる金魚の美しさが、ミラー効果で倍増する「天井金魚」、
妖艶な空気たっぷりの、金魚のお風呂「ジャグジリウム」。
「大奥」「花魁」「ロータスリウム」「超・花魁」と名付けられた
巨大水槽シリーズが４つ同時展されたメインステージは、圧巻のひとこと。
日本橋三井ホールでの開催は今年が最後になるという。
