私に重複障害の娘が生まれた時、離れていった友人がいた。
「見て見ぬふり以外、何もできないから」
ただ、変わらずに側にいてほしかったのに、離れていった。
とても寂しかったけれど、今になってその優しさが分かる。
未来や愛や平和を語ると、もっと見て見ぬふりをされるようになった。
内容をよく知ろうとさえせずに、宗教や政治活動だと思われることもある。
いつも持ちつ持たれつと常套句を使う友人でさえ、無関心を装っている。
みんな毎日を必死に生きている。
他人の幸せを構う余裕なんてない。
そんなこと、分かっている。
だからこそ。
応援してくれる人のチカラは、この上なく大きくて強い。
少しだけ、他人のためにやることは、いつか必ず自身に戻ってくる。
忙しい毎日、ほんの少しだけ手を止めて、足を止めて。

I had a friend who left me when my daughter with multiple disabilities was born.
"Because I cannot do anything other than looking at you,"
I wanted to ask her stay on my side without change, but she left.
It was very lonely, but now I know it was kindness.
When I talked about the future, love and peace, people began to ignore my activities.
Sometimes it is thought that it is religion or political activity without even trying to know the contents well.
Even friends who always says "give and take" as common phrases are look as indifference.
Everybody lives in desperately every day.
All cannot afford to think about the happiness of others.
I know that.
That's why, the power of the people who support us is extremely large and strong.
For a little bit, doing something for the sake of others will surely come back to you someday.
