毎週末、マンハッタンから北へ、片道100マイルの運転。
週末から週明けにかけて二往復。
400マイルの移動は想像以上にハードで、お気に入りの音楽を聴いて
いても睡魔に襲われて、移りゆく景色を眺める余裕などまったくない。
気が付けば、アップステートの山々は、すっかり色が変わっていた。
頬を膨らませて食物をあさる小動物達も、着実に冬支度を始めている。
今朝は気温３度。
そろそろダウンコートを出さないと。
We drive to Upstate of New York, 100 miles away from Manhattan,
every weekend.
We sometimes have the two round-trip between the beginning of
the week from the weekend.
Movement of 400 miles is very hard than you think.
And I do not afford to see the views since I would be attacked by
sleepiness, even if I listen to my favorite music.
When I noticed, the mountains of Upstate had completely changed
the colors.
Small animals that look for their food with inflated cheek also, have
begun preparations for winter steadily.
The temperature of this morning was 3 degrees Celsius.
I would prepare my down coat from the closet soon.
