現在の話題は、今年で５年目を迎える「バレンタイン・ハートデザイン・コンペティション」で優勝した「ハートウォーク」と題された作品。
ニューヨーク州とニュージャージー州から集められた木材は、昨秋のハリケーンサンディによって破壊されたボードウォークの残骸だった。
人々の心を癒す憩いの場であったボードウォークが、今かたちを変えて再びニューヨーク市民の心を温めてくれている。

Current topic, the work entitled "Heart Walk" is designed by the winner of
the fifth annual "Times Square Valentine Heart Design Competition".
Wood collected from New York and New Jersey was the wreckage of the
Boardwalk which was destroyed by the Hurricane Sandy in last fall.
Boardwalk that used to be a place of rest to heal the hearts of the people
are now changed to different shape, and it warm the hearts of New Yorkers
again.
