About 10 years ago, I was pointed out an eye disease.
It was research-related diseases with a small number of clinical trials and only English literature.
For unknown reasons, I was warned of a possible complication with other diseases.
I did various tests, but for the time being there was no effect on everyday life,
I was left unchecked because I just needed follow-up.
Last fall, I was pointed out another disease, and asked the heavens for eye problems.
Even if it cannot be cured, it may slow down the progress of the disease,
I decided to undergo laser surgery, which is said to be one step before the final stage.
On the morning of surgery, under the blue sky that penetrates to the sky,
I looked up at the Empire State Building and pressed the shutter of my heart.
I was lamenting myself who cannot escape from here.
When the anesthesia was effective, a white haze blew off the world.
I cried asexually, cried, and couldn't sleep all night.
The next morning, when the eastern sky was white and I worshiped the sun rising.
I don't think that the morning is coming as a matter of course.
I'll give my daughter someday my eyes, so I don't want to lose the light.
