長い歴史の中で、人種差別に対する「抗議デモ」が繰り返されるのは、
アメリカ開拓という歴史を辿ると、根本的な解決が得られないからだろう。
長くアメリカに住んでいても、知らないことがある。
きちんと情報を理解して、きちんと伝えていきたいという若い世代。
差別される側にしてみると、自身が関わらないという選択肢はない。
私たちには無関心という権力があるけれど、同時に、行動を起こす力がある。
「沈黙は暴力です」
最後の言葉が、ずっと胸に響いている。
