父が打ち上げ花火を見せてくれた。
少し風の強い日で、倒れた花火がそのまま私を襲ってきた。
パジャマにたくさん穴が開いて、私の右腕が燃え上がった。
今でもその時の火傷跡が、くっきり残っている。
久しぶりにガス栓を開けた実家の離れで、油がとんだ。
右腕に12カ所、丸い跡がついて腫れあがった。
市販の薬を塗ったら、少し痛みが和らいだ気がした。
翌日、仕事の打ち合わせ中に、従姉から病院行きの司令。
銀座のど真ん中で途方に暮れていたら、友人が皮膚科を紹介してくれた。
「手遅れにならなくて良かった」と医師に告げられた。
初期対応が何より大事なのだからと。
若い頃は数日で治る虫刺されの跡だって、
40代になると１年越しの傷跡になることだってある。
身体の傷は、時間が経てば癒ることもある。
でも、心の傷はなかなか立ち直れない。
私はまた火が怖くなった。
人生も花火も、少し遠くから見るのがいい。
When I was a child, it happened the time after the bath time in the hot summer.
My father showed us the fireworks.
A slightly windy day, the fallen fireworks struck me as it was.
A lot of holes opened in my pajamas, my right arm burned up.
Even now the scars of that time are clearly left.
I got the burn again at my parents’ house when I opened a gas faucet after a long time.
Twelve places on the right arm swollen with round marks.
When I applied a commercially available medicine, I felt that the pain was relieved a little.
The next day, during the meeting of work, my cousin asked me to go to the hospital immediately.
When I was at a loss in the middle of Ginza, my friend introduced me to the dermatology department.
"You were not to be too late" that the doctor was told.
Because initial response was more important than anything.
If we are young, a trace of insect bites would cure in a few days.
But there is a thing that it becomes a scar of over a year when it is in his 40's.
Bodily wounds may heal over time.
But, scratches of my heart cannot be recovered easily.
I am scared of fire again.
Both life and fireworks should be seen from a distance.
