「屋根のない美術館」としても知られる美しい街、ブルージュへ。
ブルージュの語源は「ブリッジ（橋）」。
市内に張り巡らされた運河にかかる無数の橋が点在する。
「ブリュージュの鐘楼」と「べギン会修道院」、２つの世界遺産。
旧市街全体がユネスコの世界遺産に指定されている街並みを、
港湾都市として栄えた中世当時の隆盛ぶりを想像しながら歩く。
マルクト広場を起点に小一時間の古都散歩。
ランチは、ベルギービールとムール貝、チキンやビーフの煮込み料理。
貴重な週末、私たちに精一杯のおもてなしをしてくださる伸生氏とその御家族。
その心優しさに、改めてたくさんのことに気付かせていただいた。
ほぼ毎日のように雨が降り雲間が見えることはないと言われているこの時期、
敬子さんと伸生さんパワーで、私たちが外を歩く時だけはなぜか雨が止む。
この時間が、次のステップに進む礎を作ってくれたことに、間違いはない。
世界を少しでも良いものにするためには、具体的に行動するだけ。
この旅を通して、確実に仲間の絆は深まった。
We headed 90 km northwest of the capital city of Belgium, Brussels.
To Bruges, a beautiful city, also known as a "museum with no roof".
The origin of Bruges is "bridge".
There are countless bridges scattered around the canals stretched in the city.
"Belfort en Hallen" and "Begijonhof", two world heritage sites.
We walked the townscape that the whole old city is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while imagining the prosperity of the Middle Ages that flourished as a port city.
From the Grote Markt start a small hour's walk through the old capital.
Our lunch was Belgian beer and mussels, chicken and beef stewed dishes.
At a valuable weekend, Mr. Nobuki Sugihara and his family gave us the utmost hospitality.
I noticed many things to that kindness.
It was said that almost every day as it rained and we could not be seen the sun in this period,
By the power of Keiko and Mr. Nobuki, and rain stopped for some reason only when we walked outside.
There was no mistake that this time made the foundation to proceed to the next step.
In order to make the world as good as possible, we only act concretely.
Through this trip, the bonds of our friends definitely tightened.
